In every musical group, there is always one member whose vision ignites the very core of the imagination. For God's Country Band, that member is Tim Stout.

An accomplished drummer, Tim's life has come full circle. In his former life, Mr. Stout had devoted much of his life to playing secular music in a variety of venues. Playing onstage for the first time at age 15, Tim began his career as a "fill in" player for his uncle's band. The rest, as they say, is history.

Always a professional, Tim went on to play in various bands and became an "in demand" player. His life at the time was a blur between one gig and the next. While his career as a drummer fulfilled his musical apetite, he was spending very little time at home with his family. Eventually, he began to realize that there was something missing....

Tim gave his life to Christ and became a devoted husband and father. When his devotion to his family intersected with his love of music, a dream was born. For Tim, that dream was to form a Christian Country musical group with his family. That group was to become God's Country Band.

A powerhouse drummer, Tim provides the foundation on which God's Country builds its menagerie of melody. His role as drummer allows each member to express himself freely, knowing Tim is on time every time. Not one to sit idly by, Tim is involved in the songwriting aspect of God's Country Band. Additionally, Tim provides some of the background vocals which give GCB its unique sound.

As for equipment, Tim plays both Ludwig and Pearl 5 piece drumkits and Sabian cymbals. His style complements the musicians around him by playing solid and steady at all times. "As a drummer, I can spot a good drummer from a mile away", says Bret Walton of Destiny Now. "Tim Stout is an intregal part of GCB's musical DNA."
