While many families feel fortunate having at least one musically talented member, the Stout family may boast yet another talented individual. Mike Stout was born into this musical dynasty by Divine Design. As with Tim Jr., genetics would favor Mike with vocal ability.

As a child, Mike and brother Tim Jr. were always attentive to what was going on around them. Seemingly, every weekend was filled with visiting relatives and family jam sessions. Mike found himself learning not only to sing, but to also to harmonize.

Perhaps it's not surprising that Mike Stout found himself singing in bars. It was, after all a family legacy. While enjoying the spotlight and the excitement of performing live in the nightclub scene, there was discontentment beginning to rumble within...

Being around the music scene all his life, Mike Stout had developed an edge. Although Mike had witness his father's amazing transformation, he wanted no part of church or Christianity for himself. It was a battle he had vowed to win. Fortunately, God had other plans.

Outspoken in his disdain for the Christian life, Mike chose not to tell anyone when he decided one night to attend a service at his family's home church. Once inside, the Holy Spirit began dealing with the embittered young man. Soon, the walls he had built around himself began to crumble as he began to accept Salvation. It was a moment in his life he will never forget.

It was not long until God's plans for Mike Stout began to manifest themselves. There was a place for Mike in God's Country Band, where he now sings lead vocals. It is here that he finds the peace and joy he sought for so long.

As lead vocalist for God's Country Band, Mike Stout uses Audio Technica and EV microphones. Additionally, he uses Kustom monitors.
